  Today our day began with our beloved principal K V  Benedict sir at 9:30 am. Today  he discussed about our school induction program and its importance, lesson plan templates preparation, micro teaching skills and its presentations... These are the things that we have to focus more. Then he discussed what is a feedback, mastery learning, three questions and three answers that a teacher should ask them selves... Next hour was optional by Meekha ma'am at 10:45 am. Kavya did her seminar presentation on the topic silent way, suggestopedia etc... She presented very well and the class ended at 11:45am. Las t section was taken by Ancy maam, she discussed the Adolescent age in the developmental stage. Its physical, social, emotional, language, intellectual development and role of parents and teachers in the development stage. Classes ended at 12:50 am.

  Today first hour was technology class by Joju sir at 9:30 am. Sir taught about audio visual aids in education.The class was very interactive.We discussed many points related to audio visual aids.  Then we had psychology class of Ancy maam. Maam taught about Late childhood stage and it's physical, social, emotional and language development aspects.  Third hour was optional at 12:00 pm. Keerthi chechi presented her seminar on the topic pedagogic analysis.

After two days of offline classes it again shifted to online classes due to the wide spread of Covid 19.  Today it started at 9:30 am and it was optional. Athira chechi presented her reading and reflection and Arsha presented her seminar on the topic teacher competencies. Second hour was Gibi ma'am at 10:45 am. She discussed about our syallabus and allotted topics for seminar presentation.  Third hour was by Maya Ma'am at 12:00 pm. She discussed about idealism, methods of teaching.

  After a long time George Sir took the class today. Sir taught us how to make a health chart.  BMI = weight ( in kg )÷ Height ( in M2 ) Waste hip ration = waste ( in inch )÷ hip ( in inch ) Second hour was Sathyalekha ma'am. She taught us about micro teaching, it's different forms, and teaching skills.  Later principal Benedict sir gave us some instructions and asked about our study. Sir taught us about the "different phases of teaching".   

    In the first hour Maya ma'am taught us about the schools of philosophy which is related to different thoughts. They are # Idealism # Naturalism #Realism # Pragmatism Then Ma'am detailed about idealism, it's characteristics and aims in education. It is based on truth, beauty and goodness. Idealism mainly focus on the welfare of the individual and for the good of the society. The next hour was taken by Gibi ma'am. She continued the topic scope of educational psychology. In that we had come across two variables of educational psychology and they are learning process and learning method. Also ma'am slightly discussed about the cognitive developmental theories formulated by Piaget, Bruner and Gagne. "Anything can be taught anybody in any level of development in an intellectually honest manner"~ Bruner Third hour was Sathyalekha ma'am. She revised the portions she taught and discussed the major point regarding micro teaching. 

 Online classes started at 9:30 am.  First hour was M.Ed intern Revathy ma'am. She dealt with the topic mobile learning, podcasts, vodcast and web learning and its scope in education. The class was very interactive and active. Beyond the syllabus the discussion goes on to wide directions and improved our understanding about computer and mobile mediated learning.  Second hour was Shabana ma'am at 10:45am. Maya maam started the class by giving an introduction to National integration and various factors influencing the integrity of people in a nation. Then Shabana teacher continued the session by explaining about definition, Obstacles, factors etc in national integration and how education can be used to strengthen national integration.  Third hour was Sathyalekha ma'am at 12:00pm to 1:15 pm. She continued Erickson's theory of psycho social development. Teacher taught about remaining stages of development and importance of Erickson's theory in education. 

 Online classes started at 9:00 am. First hour was Ancy ma'am. This hour was engaged by M.Ed intern Sathyalekha Ma'am.  She taught as Erickson theory of psycho social development. Second hour was optional by Meekha ma'am. Nandana and Sr Jomcy presented their seminars. Ma'am also mentioned Edgar Dales cone of experience. "I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand."- Confucius Third hour was by MEd intern Dona ma'am. She taught about emotional, social and spacial intelligence.

 Online classes started at 9:00 am in the morning. First hour was handled by Maya Ma'am. She taught as about Philosophical base of knowledge. Philosophy is as old as human life ,way of thinking, deeply involved in human life gives direction to life arises out of an attempt to arrive at the solution of a problem. Phileo means love and Sophia means wisdom. Philosophy is the "Great mother of all sciences". Francis Bacon "Every one follows philosophy wheather he is aware of it or not". Aristotle Second hour started at 10:15 am by Revathy ma'am.The section was about computer simulation_the process to create as imitation of real world system or physical object into a computer model. Application of CS is weather forecasting, designing,aeronautics etc... Third session was optional by Meekha ma'am at 11: 15am. She taught as about planning. After that Veena chechi presented her seminar on the topic Grammar. The classes ended at 12:15 pm.

 Online classes started at 9 am. First hour was taken by the M.Ed intern. Satyalekha teacher taught us the components of effective classroom communication. In fact her class itself was an example of effective classroom communication! Gibi teacher discussed the scope of Educational Psychology and she introduced us to a new therapy-  Mm-hmm therapy  which really captured our attention and interest. But in reality all of us apply this therapy in others and sometimes to ourselves. While we listen to others we use Mm-hmm, and when we talk about our own emotions we expect others to use this 'mm-hmm'.  Gibi teacher explained the role of id, ego, and superego. When teacher told us about these elements I was wondering that all of us have come across the thoughts that these elements create but we did not know the psychological terms given by Sigmund Freud.  I am sure that this knowledge is going to be immensely useful to all of us as it is going to help us in analysing our own behavior.

  Online classes started today.  Classes were from 9am -12.30pm. We had two hours of General classes and one hour of optional class.  Learning through online class is a different experience😃.  First session was taken by Dona teacher. She taught us 'Intelligence test' continuing the previous portion.  Next session was our optional class. Meekha ma'am handled with seminar topic along with discussion. After that the third session was taken by Shabana teacher. She taught us the life history of Dr S Radhakrishnan and then explained his views in the meaning and aims of education.  Thus first day of online classes gone very well even at the time of this pandemic.  "It is not that we use technology bu t we live technology. "

  Today, January 12 is celebrated as national youth day and it is the birthday of Swami Vivekananda.  The theme for National Youth Day 2022 is “ IT'S ALL IN THE MIND ”. The day began with assembly. Today's assembly was led by Natural science optional.   Gibi ma'am published their logo and conveyed beautiful message. "We must be like Phoenix bird during this crisis and should fly from ash." Then in optional hour Drishya did her seminar topic. Shabana ma'am taught us "Role of education & importance of society in education " We conducted a group discussion. After the discussion Vivek, Athira & Nithin gave an explanation.  Dona ma'am discussed about the topic Intelligence tests. Arunthathi & Bharat shared more points. The class ended by afternoon because of the spread of COVID pandemic. And announced that tomorrow onwards the online class will be conducted. 

  Then first hour was free and second hour was handled by Dona Ma'am MEd trainee She explained Guilfords model of intelligence. After interval was optional session. Sathyalekha Ma'am started with our first sem seminar portions. Vivek, Athira had presented their respective ones. After the lunch break first hour was taken by Sathyalekha ma'am.She discussed the barriers of communication. Next hour Revathy ma'am discussed the topic computer mediated communication.  She also gave us a group activity to differenciate CAI,CMI and CMC.

    This day began with our optional class by Sathyalekha Ma'am. She discussed a new topic. Then the next hour was taken by Revathy ma'am. She discussed on the topic computer managed instruction and its characteristics.  The next session was handled by Sathyalekha teacher. She discussed on classroom communication and its peculiarities. After noon section was taken by Dona ma'am. She discussed on Thurstson's group factor theory which provided 7 primary mental abilities  and its applications. Next  was just relaxation session  by shabana ma'am. Aami sang a beautiful song for us. It was really entertaining one. In the evening we have Insight Indepth webinar on Visual Narrative:A brief introduction of the term Graphic Novel by Akansha mam . She discussed about different aspects of comics and visual Novel .It was really informative .

  Today begins with the optional class. The day begins with the class of MEd intern Sathyalekha Ma'am. She covered a new topic. Next was art and theatre class.  The session was handled by Reju sir. This  was an hour of enjoyment, happiness. We walked, ran, jumped, sat ,lied on the floor...We played lot of games that was really filled with fun and energy. Afternoon session was handled by Dona teacher, Shabana teacher and Sathyalekha teacher.  Dona teacher tells us about Spearman's two factor theory, The G factor and S factor. Shabana teacher explained about child centered and life centered education. Sathyalekha teacher tells us about secularism and education.

  The day begins with yoga. Sir taught some yoga postures using legs. I feel very fresh after doing yoga. The energy for the day was acquired through the yoga. Then the next hour was handled by Revathy Ma'am, MEd intern from Govt.College of  Teacher Education, Thycaud. She taught us about computer assisted instructions (CAI).   "  Computer assisted instruction is an instructional technique whereby a computer is used to present in the instructional material and monitor the learning that takes place. " The next two hours was optional. The optional hour was handled by Mrs Sathyalekha Ma'am. She detailed each and every concept in a discussion pattern. She taught about multiple intelligence and it's different aspects including educational implications. The next hours was handled by Dona Ma'am. Ma'am explained about intelligence , types of intelligence etc. Next hour was handled by Shabana teacher, detailed about Different types of education -  formal, informal,

  Today first hour we had Maya Ma'am class. We discussed about the qualities and competencies required for a teacher. Ma'am taught us about  PARADIGM SHIFT .  "  It is a change from one way of thinking to another, and it's a revolution, it's a type of metamorphosism". She created a visual magic in our minds with her detailing . And also discussed about Teaching as an art and Science. Then a few friends sang songs for everyone. WELCOME MEd Interns.. Then principal introduced 4 MEd interns from Govt. College of Teacher Education, Thycaud. They have come to our college for 15 days of teaching practice. We welcomed them wholeheartedly. The Next hour was handled by Gibi Ma'm. Ma'm taught us about the materials of learning and maxims of teaching. Then  in optional hour Meekha ma'am introduced MEd intern of English optional Mrs Sathyalekha. Then we interacted with them. The last hour was taken by Ancy Ma'am. She taught us about stages of Development.

  It was begining of a new year. 2022 We returned to college after our Christmas vacation. I was very happy to see everyone after a break. The day begins with the class of Meekha Ma'am. She enquired us about the vacation time. The next two hours was handled by Joju sir. Sir gave us new year message. Sir gave us an idea about the creation of e content. The class was very interesting. Afternoon section was handled by Maya Ma'm. She started the class by asking a question to us. Why are we celebrating New year? I think it is the time to analyse our past year and it is a hope for the upcoming future. So that it is a moment to celebrate... Then Ma'm discussed about the competency of a teacher.  "Competency is the standardized requirement for an individual to properly perform specific job." Before returning to our homes we gave a bottle of water to our plants . Plants are future assets ,So  treat our plants with care. It was the end of the day..
