CHRISTMAS. DAY @ MTTC

  It is the day full of joy, happiness, energy etc.. It is the Christmas celebration day for MTTC. All were in red and white costumes taking selfies, preparing for the Christmas competitions and the Christmas events. Around 11am the celebration started and the Christmas message was given by Rev. Fr. Jolly Karimpal and then together joining with our principal Dr.K.Y Benedict and Fr. Thomas Kayyalakkal they cut the Christmas cake 🎂. It was the beginning of the celebrations. The real celebration started with the carole song of first and second year student. Then there was programmes by each optionals Mathematics, Natural Science, MEd, Physical Science. Mathematics association presented a short skit on the speciality and importance of Christmas decorations including candles, cakes , trees etc. It was an innovative presentation.   The day begins with the assembly conducted by Mathematics Association. Assembly Started with prayer and then college anthem. First two periods were optional.  The next was handled by Maya Ma'am. In that period she explained more points about qualities and competencies of a teacher. Teacher should be empathetic, non- partial towards students, etc. The next two hours was taken by Ancy Ma'am. She taught us about various Principles of development.There are 7 principles of development. * Principle of continuity  * Principle of orderly development  * Principle of development  * Principle of individual difference  * Principle of cumulative development  * Principle of inter-relation  * Principle of developmental direction. Then we went for the practice of Christmas programmes..   The Christmas is arrived. The celebration has begun. Our college became beautifully prepared for the arrival of Christmas.

LIVE FOR TODAY

  The new day starts with small group discussion on the topic " Cyber crimes and ways to prevent them." The topic have soo much importance in today's world which is more or less rotating around the internet. The cyber crimes are rising with the development of usage of internet. We discussed thoroughly about the topic,  noted  down to make a small report for the presentation in the next class.  The next hour was taken by Maya Ma'm. LEARN FROM YESTERDAY

  After the weekend holidays, we returned to college. The first two hours was handled by Meekha Ma'am. Ma'am firstly congratulated us for our togetherness and efforts during NAAC Visit. Even though we are newcomers, our unity and hard work was appreciated by her. Later we moved on with the syllabus. Ma'am gave us an idea about assignment, seminar etc.  Next session was handled by Joju sir. Sir divided the topic for assignment to us.  Sir then take the topic,  Technology in education and Technology of education. Technology of education refers to the principles and techniques teacher uses in making learning effective like giving reinforcement, making class child centered. Technology in education is the use of LCD projectors, presentation etc for teaching. After the class, there was a survey on life skills assessment for the research purpose of a research student. BACK TO NORMAL

  It was the day we returned to college after NAAC visit and a holiday after the tiresome works from the past one week. First session was by Maya Ma'am. She gave a task for us to write our strengths and areas to be improved as a teacher. That was a self analysis for us. Ma'am also tell us to do a feedback on her too. The afternoon section was handled by Joju sir. Sir appreciated our efforts during NAAC visit. Sir concluded and briefed about our small group discussion topic - Pros and Cons of technology. Then sir concluded the class by explaining about Hardware and Software technology of teaching.

NACC VISIT DAY 2

  It was the final day of NAAC visit. The day begins with the assembly conducted by the college union 2020-2022. The morning was very calm, and refreshing. We entered the college by wearing the Kerala Saree - the symbol of our tradition and culture. Everyone was more active and happy.  'There is beauty and power in unity, we must be united in heart and mind, one world, one people'.  Started with prayer , and then pledge , campus news , thoughts were filled. And the principal Dr. Benedict sir delivered mesmerizing thoughts also. Then, to receive  Christmas , students of all associations presented gifts to principal . And it ended with National anthem.  We got more time in the morning to capture beautiful moments of ours. NACC VISIT DAY 1

  It was the end of preparations and beginning of NAAC visit.  The day begins with the class of yoga. Sir explained the benefits of yoga and did some postures of yoga too. The next hour was dealt by Maya Ma'am. We together listed out the qualities and competency of a teacher from A to Z.
